Dear Families,
We will begin our registration for our summer programs and 2012-2013 school year on February 1st. The new school year will mark the 30th anniversary of Good Shepherd Christian Nursery School. The nursery school board realizes that everyone is facing financial difficulties and has decided to keep the registration and tuition rates the same for our 2012-2013 school year.

As we have mentioned in the past it is our fundraisers that help us to purchase extra supplies, toys and special presentations for our school. I will inform you of a delivery date. We ask that you pick up your orders on the day of delivery. The items are perishable and need to be kept cold.

January brought our first storm of the winter, but fortunately it didn’t cause any school delays. I would like to remind you at this time in case of inclement weather to check our web site at Good Shepherd Christian Nursery School.com. You may also find delays or closings on channel 69 or listen to radio stations: WEST 1400, WLEV 100.7 or CAT Country 96.1. When there is a two hour delay we will run on a modified schedule. AM classes will be held from 11:00 am -12:30 pm and PM classes will be held from 1:30pm-3:00pm. We will not be able to have early care on days of modified schedules and lunch care would be held from 12:30pm-1:30 pm. 
Our Valentine exchange will be held on February 13th and 14th. Your child’s classroom teacher will provide information regarding the exchange of Valentine cards. 
School will be closed on February 20th for Presidents’ Day.
